10 Things Your Guy Can Do To Improve His Fertility

• Visit The Dentist: Make sure your husband has his teeth cleaned, thus eliminating the possibility of infections in the gums or teeth.

• Consider His Weight: Too much or too little body fat can disrupt production of reproductive hormones, thus reducing sperm count. Try to help your husband/partner lose weight, especially scrotal fat, which can act like a warm blanket over the scrotum and elevate sperm temperatures, which in turn, kill and immobilize sperm. Excess fat around the waist is often associated with decreased male fertility.

• Reduce Stress: Encourage your husband/partner to take steps to reduce stress, as stress has been shown to negatively impact male reproductive hormones and lower testosterone.

• Drink Lots of Water: Make sure your partner is drinking plenty of high-quality, filtered water each day.

• Touch, Touch and Touch Some More: Stimulation increases hormones and improves fertility. Touch each other at length before intercourse to increase hormones, both his and yours.

• Ejaculate Often: Sex is good for sperm, because the less time spent in storage, the higher quality it will be and less DNA damage.

• Enjoy More Sunshine: Encourage your guy to get outside 10 to 15 minutes a day.

• Balance The Body’s Flora: Eating a diet rich in nuts, seeds, fruits and vegetables can help encourage healthy sperm. Limit sugar, processed foods and encourage your guy to take a probiotic to improve digestive health and reduce inflammation. Reducing the amount of gluten consumed is also important.

• Alkalize His Body With Greens: Lots of healthy vegetables can help restore the acid-alkaline balance in the reproductive system to the proper sperm pH. A diet high in acid-producing foods such as meat, white flour, sugar, alcohol, coffee and soft drinks is to be avoided.

• Nourish His Endocrine System: The endocrine system is responsible for hormone production and secretions. Low sperm count or morphology is often caused by hormonal imbalance, and an over-stressed endocrine system.
